Denise Adams, Director - This year marks the 40th year that Denise has directed the Morton Civic Chorus in its annual fundraiser for the Central Illinois Memorial Kidney Fund. Each year she gives her all to create an event that is pleasing to every audience member, young or old. This year will be no exception. Denise's musical background includes teaching at Roosevelt Magnet School, Washington Gifted School and sixteen (16) years at Woodruff High School, also Peoria High School and Kellar Primary School. She is most pleased to have many of her former students still singing with her while raising money for dialysis patients in need. Over the years she has had her family join her on stage, husband, Lee Wenger, son, Matt Pentecost, son, Christopher Adams-Wenger, and daughter, Kaitlin Adams-Wenger. She is also proud of her growing family which includes her four grandchildren, Marcy, Lucia, Vincent and Olivia. The Morton Civic Chorus is truly blessed to have her influence help them grow in musical wisdom and stature, always with the goal of raising more and more money for people with chronic kidney disease throughout central Illinois. Denise thanks all the dear singers for their dedication, and you for your support.
