Through the contributions that are raised from the sharing of our gift of music, we hope to make miracles happen in the lives of chronic kidney disease patients throughout Central Illinois.
The first Kidney Fund Benefit was produced in 1972 by the Morton Women's Club Chorus after one of its
own members suffered from kidney disease. For several years, proceeds from the show were donated to the Heart of Illinois Chapter of National Kidney
Foundation. In 1976, the Central Illinois Memorial Kidney Fund (CIMKF) was incorporated to focus on patient assistance in the Central Illinois area.
In 2004, we reached one million dollars for chronic kidney patients. We are working toward our second million dollars.
